Anyone who has ever listened to the radio show or watched the 1950's TV show with George Reeves remembers these famous words. Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster created Superman and since his first appearance in Action Comics# 1 in 1938, he has appeared in other media as well; first in 17 Fleischer theatrical cartoons, a successful radio show, four television series (counting "Superboy" and the upcoming "Smallville"), 2 live-action movie serials and five feature films, with a sixth one being planned. Superman has also appeared in a few animated TV cartoons, a Broadway show, on record albums and CD movie scores by John Williams.

You will find many of these versions of the Man of Steel showcased in "Superman: From Krypton to Metropolis". including many rare photos of the Man of Steel.
